Anyone else go through multiple baby bottles before your baby knew which one they liked?  Before Brooke, I had no idea babies were so picky.  We certainly have enough things on the market to test out the waters and it’s good to tell new moms who plan to pump and bottle feed to put a few options on your registry because it is not just you calling the shots now.  Your baby has quite a bit of say in what bottle they will actually drink out of which was much to my dismay on the first time around.  Now I like the idea of trying out the options and fell in love with an updated version of a classic old bottle.

The Phillip AVENT Classic baby bottle has been used and trusted by parents since 1984 and was the first bottle to have an anti-colic system.  Phillips AVENT decided to spruce up the classic line with adorable prints of whales or birds.  You get to buy the bottles in a nice three-pack at a reasonable price and a great way for your baby to give it a test run.  The bottles are BPA-free and come with the AVENT unique skirt on the nipple for air flow.  It comes with one slow flow nipple which is important for all new moms to know that slow flow is the way to start with a newborn until your baby can handle medium to fast flow nipples (another thing I did not know before Brooke).  I really like that it’s a simple bottle where you don’t have a thousand attachments to clean and sanitize (yes, I like to sanitize which is slightly annoying, even for me, for that first year) and no extra items to purchase on an ongoing basis.  Now I’m crossing my fingers that baby Brie will love it as much as I do!
