Dabbawalla Bags Lunch Purse (Pre-K+)
A Modern Twist for Carrying Lunch in Style or Toting Daily Essentials
If you follow my blog you probably know I love the stainless steel bento boxes for kid’s lunches. However, I had been struggling at how to pack it so that it was easy for my daughter to carry and access outside of her backpack. I was thrilled to discover this small business (extremely small; three employees small) that carries these beautiful lunch purses for kids. My older daughter’s bento boxes fit perfectly (15”h x 12”w x 6”d) and I love the interesting and cute strap-through-strap design which looks so stylish. While you don’t have to use it for a lunch tote, it is insulated (it is made from something called eco-sponge neoprene, which is a new one to me) so it is perfect to retain food temperatures. Best of all? It is free of lead, PVC, BPA, Phthalates and over 100 other toxins that are tested on products. Moms, don’t feel bad if you want to use the lunch purse for yourself, it is perfectly acceptable. Be sure to check out their backpacks and lunch bags and they even have an outlet section for discounted items in their online store. Made in the U.S.A. in Seattle, Washington!
