The Original Door Cushion
I remember my immense feeling of horror when my daughter learned how to open doors. I should probably clarify, it wasn’t just opening doors; it was slamming them, prying them open with little fingers and the surprise sneak attacks she would do on my husband and me. Her newfound freedom led to a little bit more of chipping away at ours. Of course, we were proud and excited at her achievement although worried about her safety, especially the first time she pinched her little fingers in our door. The foam stoppers worked for so long – until she realized she could easily pull them off. Luckily, I found these really cool –and cute – door cushion which will be especially useful in the babies (ahem) our room.
The cushy closer door cushion was created in 2007 by sisters Gail Calderon and Darlene Garcia. Together they have a combined total of nine children so they certainly knew what they wanted in designing a safe and SNUG product to keep doors safe and slam-free. As the owner of several door stopper products, I can attest that the craftsmanship and awesome designs on these cushions are so well made and chic, I can see this lasting for many years. The tight fit of the product alone is enough to keep Brooke from pulling it off which is exactly what we were looking for in this product. The cute Chevron pattern doesn’t hurt, either!
