Prepaid Art Plate Kit (Pre-K +)

Personalized Treasures Made By You!

I am a sucker for homemade-looking products, but as a sad crafter (I do try), I like the semi-homemade approach.  My daughter is quite a little artist and when I saw these MakIt’s original art plate kits, I knew this was a unique way for her to enjoy her art in a very permanent way.  It was also a fun way for us to do art together side-by-side and we had a blast.  Brooke is particularly fond of the cat plate she asked me to do and I love her plate designs including one she dubbed, ‘Mommy and the Man’.  Hey, she is the artist, I don’t question her work.  She is very proud to use our plates and it makes me happy to see her get excited about them at mealtime.  This is definitely one project momma could not screw up (well, I guess technically I could have sent her template to the wrong address, but I digress..)!

MakIt’s Prepaid Art Plate Kit comes with 25 blank templates for your child to create a unique design that will be bonded to a melamine plate.  The cost includes shipping and it is perfect to do in small groups since it is just a fraction of the cost to add additional plates to be created with a child’s exclusive design.  The melamine plates are 10 inches in diameter, BPA (non-toxic) free and break-resistant.  Dishwasher safe, but with all melamine, do not microwave.  The finished art plates are fantastic and look quite professional.  Do you think your little artist would like eating off their own creation?  Scrumptious!  They also make great gifts for grandparents!

Additional Plate Pricing:
2-3 plates   $11.99
4-9 plates   $  9.99
10+ plates   $  6.99
(price includes shipping on finished products)

Side Note:  This is a Dallas, Texas based company and their shipping time was very exceptional!

  1. These would be great to use in our church’s beginner’s class. I was the teacher up until last year when I was close to having my son. Maybe when he gets a little older I will be able to teach again. I will have to remember these plates!
