Healthy Kids Dinner Set (Toddler+)
Making Fruits & Vegetables Simple, Fun, & Delicious
If you follow the USDA dietary guidelines than you know that half of our meals should contain fruits and vegetables. An easy way to get kids on a good start to healthy eating is to give them a nice visual of their recommended daily intake. While talking to kids about eating healthy, I have found that this adorable Healthy Kids Set from Super Healthy Kids is a great way to show our daughter portion control.
The Healthy Kids Dinner Set is recommended for kids two and up and includes a one cup portion control bowl, a healthy habits plate eight inches in diameter that is broken into the USDA recommended dietary intake and a cup for water. All portions include an adorable cartoon character that shows exactly what needs to be and what portion. The 100% melamine set is dishwasher safe and BPA and lead free (like all melamine sets, I do not recommend using it in the microwave)! While this set can’t guarantee your child will eat their entire broccoli portion, it will at least start the visual and dietary habits of a good healthy meal.
