Like most kids, my daughter is a builder. She stacks, creates and makes the most interesting structures out of, well, everything. We have to watch her like a hawk at times or she will start creating things out of our stuff and recently decided to stack all of Bob’s clothes from his dresser into one neat and fun pile. You know, piles of clothes are fun to stack and jump in, right? When I first heard about the interlocking Skallops building set, I thought of seafood. It wasn’t until I got a chance to mess around with a set with my daughter that I saw how ingenious and simple this fun building set was for us. In fact, the Skallops set even comes with a deck of cards for even more creative construction!
The Skallops Junior Set by EM Labs is a unique building set of connecting laser cut clips that include a set of specialty designed cards to make creating structures fun! This is an imaginative set where children (and adults!) can create countless interesting designs. The Skallops are made with durable birch plywood and sanded so there is no issue with splinters (whew!). Each set contains 52 Skallop clips and a unique deck of Skallop playing cards. I was pretty amazed at how many designs we could make – from hats to houses to puppets! I am sure you and your family could come up with many more designs and have a ton of fun creating.
