You caught me! This is not a kid’s product although it’s the perfect stocking stuffer of parents with kids. I learned a lot about the Love and Logic Parenting concept through a mother in one of my parenting groups while I was still pregnant and have since read numerous books on the subject. Basically, parents learn how to really be empathic, loving, and understanding while still holding kids accountable for their actions. It’s simple and it is logical. “You did not lock up your bike and it was stolen. I know that makes you very sad and it will take you some time to save up for a new one”. The end. I also understand that parents, myself included, have limited time to read many books (besides children’s books – ha), so this CD is perfect to listen to in the car, on your iPod or while spinning at the gym. This CD teaches the really great Love and Logic technique which uses the concept of the ‘energy drain’ when your child is depleting your energy. “Oh, listening to you yell like that drains my energy.
