Product Review: No-Spill® Bubble Machine (Age 3+) *Fun*
Drop it, knock it over, tip it upside down – still no spills!
If there is one product that continually disappoints me, it’s bubble blowing devices for kids; however, when you put ‘no spill’ and ‘buzzillons of bubbles’ in the same sentence, it definitely perks up my ears. We love to blow bubbles, but the constant messy goo seems to go everywhere. Don’t get me started on those silly sticks that seem to fall down just far enough so that it is not humanly possible to get out without losing some of your suds. I had actually been looking for a fun bubble machine since Brooke’s last birthday in the summer but nothing was really that great to do a review post. Products leaked, didn’t work or didn’t last or reviews were just so terrible I did not want to attempt to waste money. Then I saw and read about the No Spill Bubble Machine and I am pleased to tell you it’s a great buy.
The No-Spill® Bubble Machine really is the ‘ultimate’ bubble machine for families. While it says you can use it both inside and out since it is mess-free, I still prefer we go outside to see the bubble magic. We love the handle and Brooke can carry it around without a problem. It does take three AAA batteries (not included) but does come with an 8 oz container of the Blastos! Bubbles that is available on the Little Kids Toys website. We actually haven’t used any other kind of bubbles in it yet and will probably stay with Blastos! since the bubbles are so long lasting, but any kind of bubbles should work (and you should stay stocked because the bubbles go fast!). Bubbles are already super fun, but they are even better when they are mess-free and there are ‘buzzillions’ at once. I will include that we had to straighten out the main tube in the bottom half of the machine in order for it to work correctly. Thankfully, that was mentioned in the instructions (after thinking I got another dud bubble product…) that this tube can get out of shape in shipping and with Bob stretching it out, we were in business. Oh yeah, the machine comes in the color combinations or blue/red and pink/purple.
