Of course I had a pencil case as a child! I was a songwriter – duh! I wrote a lot. Sometimes my writing was hard to piece together and sometimes words just flowed like water from a broken fire hydrant from my brain to my fingertips. Will pencils still be in vogue by the time my daughter is in middle school – the height of my writing? Hmmmm…I often wonder. The iPad hasn’t totally wiped away this art form, so hopefully my daughter takes after me in being a little ‘American Picker’ and liking things more retro. So adorable! Brooke just loves it.
