Animal Soup is a very funny game from a hilarious book by the same name from children’s author Todd H. Doodler. You may have heard me mention him before since he is the author of Bear in Underwear. Much like the Animal Soup book, the object of the game is to put together body parts and features from two very different animals to make a new kind of animal. For example, a bird plus a turtle equals a birdle. Get it? Got it. Good!
In Animal Soup The Mixed-Up Animal Board Game the first player to create two complete mixed-up animals is the winner. It is a hilarious and educational game because of some interesting tweaks that the Haywire Group has added. Kids will learn about colors and matching and the different parts of the animals all while having fun.
