The Belt Kids Can Fasten Themselves!
We are really lucky. Brooke’s preemie status finally caught up to full term babies by age two. She is still on the small side of the scale and I swear all her fat collects in her cute little baby-like cheeks! Her arms, legs and her stomach are TINY! To be fair, her dad and I aren’t big people anyway. She might have been on the skinny side coming from a mom who had the nickname ‘bird legs’ in middle school. However, it does get frustrating when shirts fit her fine in matching outfits but the pants are always falling off her body. As always, I try to promote independence in our daughter and it was awesome to see that Myself Belts was a product designed with kids in mind.
Myself Belts are EASY belts for kids to use by taking out the buckle and adding Velcro. Even the youngest kids should not have any issues using this belt. It has a patented one-handed belt closure that was invented by an observant mom who wanted to give her child independence. By Velcro-ing one end on to the first belt loop, the child can easily loop and fasten the belt together. Simple! There are so many adorable designs to choose from and I love that you can personalize. We went with the Solid Black Twill to be on the safe side this time (to see if we liked the product), but I have a feeling that Distressed Brown Leather will be next on the Myself Belt purchase list!
