I am pro-dad and my family dynamics screams that sentiment. Sure, it’s sometimes annoying when I get up early to make my daughter breakfast she refuses to eat since I don’t make eggs ‘like daddy’, but for the most part our lives of having a Stay At Home Dad (SAHD) is much as any other Stay At Home family. We both work hard, we both get tired, but we both feel grateful at the end of the day. As I do recognize women are given a lot of the well-deserved ‘pampering mom’ ability, there really are not a lot of ‘daddy-centric’ books or items for that special dad, I was STOKED to see a gift bag set filled with seven dad-based books. Whoo hoo! Reading has always been a special time for us with Brooke and she likes to personally request who get to read her what book now. Ha. While this is THE perfect new dad gift, this is also great for rookie or experienced dads who can remember the good and terrifying first months as a new parent. I love it!
