Want a fun and creative activity for the little ones around the holidays? Mudpuppy has come out with a line of Make-a-Masks that are pre-cut. They say you just make the mask and not the mess, so we decided to give it a try. While many options exist, Brooke loves playing superhero (she does have a cape, you know! Ha), and the gist of the masks is to design your own through your personal favorite mark-ables: markers, crayons, paint, charcoal, well….you get the idea!).
Mudpuppy’s Make-a-Mask Kit in Super Hero comes in a tablet of tear-off paper masks (five of four different designs, so 20 masks in total) ready to be colored. The illustrations are by Stephan Britt (who has done way too many things to put into this review, so check out his website here if you are interested) done nicely in lightning bolts, atomic orbits, crescent moons (Brooke’s favorite) and diamonds. Sounds very super hero-y to me! Bonus: the masks are printed with nontoxic soy-based inks!
