I am not a stay-at-home mom, but my daughter has been a stay-at-home kid since birth with her SAHD father and, with the exception of my little pangs of jealousy, I wouldn’t want it any other way. But now, she will be starting preschool in 2013. 2013! It’s almost here! I can’t be ready…I mean she can’t be ready, right? It makes me sad, excited and nervous all rolled into one. If I can’t be with her, I want her to feel safe, secure and happy. Having a super cool nap mat doesn’t hurt either, right? I remember nap time and milk and reading time. I certainly hope she enjoys that as much as I did and the Easy-Sleep Nap Mats are one way I can feel a little better sending her off on her own to school. Le sigh. Brooke is actually so excited by this Sleep Mat that she calls it her ‘second’ bed and likes to have it by her own big bed to hang out in when she feels like it. It’s quite cute.
Easy-Sleep Nap Mats by Wildkin is the perfect namesake for their beautiful patterns and comfy fleece blanket. It is a great size for a preschooler (and Brooke, being tiny, has plenty of wiggle room) at 21” W x 45” L. The mat is made with water-resistant coated polyester for our accident-prone kids and the pillow comes off easily for washing. It can also be easily rolled up for transportation and is lead-safe, BPA-free and phthalate-free. We chose the beautiful eye-popping Kaleidoscope pattern since Brooke loves her geometric shapes. It also comes with a one year warranty against defects (misuse and normal wear and tear do not count, parents!) and is the perfect starter sleeping bag for our little ones. Now if only I was as excited as she is about her first day of school. I will get there, Mommas, I promise……
