Usually I am not one to believe in the hype of TV commercials or infomercials. My husband has bought a few kitchen items from infomercials that just never worked right. I also just can’t believe you could get toned abs and a butt within a few weeks with an instrument that looks like a pool water noodle. Sorry, I’m not that stupid. But wait? A Cuddleuppet? OK, now we are talking. This is the one time that I saw something on TV that has lived up to its hype. A product that is a cuddly blanket but also a friendly animal puppet? OK, you got me, you tricky TV commercial. We have been sold! Plus just look at that silly, adorable grin. Someone’s gotten into the Christmas candy early!
The Bear Cuddleuppet is half a toy puppet and half a cuddly blanket. It is super soft, durable and, yes, resilient with a preschooler. The blanket itself is a nice 28″x39″ and the head had a moveable mouth perfect for pretend play. Brooke loves this thing and doesn’t seem to mind it competing with her toy bear. Oh, and it doesn’t just come in a bear animal variety, you can also purchase a poodle, monkey, puppy, crocodile or an elephant Cuddleuppet. Now if I can just get that commercial song out of my head, “Cuddle Cuddle-Uppets, Blankets that are Puppets….”. Sigh!
