Product Review: Cocoa Felice (Yummy Fun for Families!)
All Natural Non-Dairy Hot Cocoa Mix
I am somewhat of a cocoa snob. Once I discovered cocoa didn’t have to come in packages with dehydrated marshmallows, it blew my mind and my taste buds. This is definitely not an insult to my parents who grew up eating spam and pizza with hot dogs as a topping, it’s just we didn’t know any better (or, couldn’t afford any better). While I am not an all-natural freak about everything (hey, I like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Fritos, too!), I do try and eat as healthy as I possibly can so I don’t have a complete breakdown from lack of yummy gooeyness and artificial flavor that I still crave from my childhood. Mountain Dew and Doritos anyone? My daughter is on a more restrictive diet since she is still growing and needs those wholesome foods to build a strong body. Now back to cocoa…it is a staple in my house when the weather turns cold. While my husband makes a mean hot cocoa from scratch, it is time consuming and dirty dish worthy. Sometimes it’s nice to scoop out a cup and just add milk (or a non-dairy drink for the lactose intolerant). Enter Cocoa Felice and all your problems are solved!
Cocoa Felice is an all-natural Non-Dairy Hot Cocoa Mix. You can use any form of milk or non-dairy creamer to create a rich chocolate drink before for the winter season. Yes, even Almond or Rice Milk work for this mix. The mix comes in a 22-oz container and is made with the finest European chocolate. Can you say YUM?! I usually dip a peppermint candy cane in my hot chocolate (force of habit), but I didn’t for this cup and was so glad I didn’t ‘taint’ the yummy chocolate taste.
