Product Review: One Little Mailbox (Child’s Keepsake Mailbox) (Age 3+)
A Child’s Keepsake Mailbox. A memory that you make with your child they will cherish for a lifetime
I am a huge fan of Whitney Biggs. If you remember my review on her Mother Daughter Letter Book back in February (here is my direct review link to refresh your memory), I also mentioned she was working on a keepsake book for children and parents for the younger crowd and I told her to keep me posted. True to her word (she is seriously one of the sweetest people I have ever met), she let me know that her new product ‘One Little Mailbox’ was picked up with www.uncommongoods.com and would be on the market for the holiday season. Yes! One of the best perks of having talented friends is getting to try their products first! But, guess what? Now I can pass on this inside information to you!
One Little Mailbox is a way to enhance communication and develop a treasured tradition between parents and children through letters in their own special mailbox. One Little Mailbox kit includes the special mailbox, the story book of how the Mailbox came to happen, 10 birthday cards, four encouragement tags and 15 keepsake cards that are to be completed by grandparents, parents and siblings for the child. The included story should be read to the child and is an adorable book about a boy named Sam who receives a mailbox outside his bedroom from the Treasure Fairy. The Treasure Fairy (and Sam’s family) starts to leave Sam all sorts of fun things like letters and gifts. After the story has been read, during the night, place the mailbox outside your child’s room and begin to start leaving cards, letters of encouragement and even little gifts for your child to ‘find’. The beauty of this product is that it is a keepsake, so you can pass it on to your child once they are grown with all of the letters, keepsakes and treasures they have accumulated over the years and they can even begin the tradition again with their own child. How is that for adorable? Yes, we love it!

About the Author: Whitney Biggs wants mothers and daughters to keep their lines of communication open and share their lives with each other. Whitney is a cancer survivor who lost her mom to cancer too soon. Faced with the reality that her small children could grow up without knowing her, she came to believe that chronicling memories was the best gift you can give your loved ones. What a beautiful message that shows through her keepsake books. Check out the Treasured Passages website for her other keepsake books for friends, couples, sisters and now children!

Great review and product. I love the idea of sharing memories and keepsakes this way with one’s children. Everyone should do this! Awesome story. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Avon! I feel the same way. I love doing these kinds of things and hope my daughter will really appreciate all the little things her dad and I do for her.
