There came a time when Brooke hated her kid’s cutlery set. Even the age-appropriate ones made her upset. The handles were too short, the spoons did not dip down enough and she sure couldn’t get anything on those stubby fork handles. Our adult set has heavy handles, so that was a little problematic. I was thinking of buying an adult set with lighter handles when I came across the Gripables cutlery set and I immediately decided they must have known the struggles our daughter was having because why else would a perfect product be out there for us? Oh, we must not be the only family with this issue! Well, if you are struggling with the same problem, this review is for you!
The Gripables Comfortable Cutlery set is a three piece set (fork, spoon and knife) for children two and up that have ‘gripable’ long handles perfect for kids almost ready to graduate to an adult set. The easy-to-grip notched soft plastic handle is also extended much longer than normal kid’s cutlery set which is exactly what we wanted. She has been able to handle her silverware much easier and seems to really like the set. Sets come in pink or blue colors. This has been a great set for Brooke who isn’t getting frustrated with getting a bite to eat now. The set is also dishwasher safe. Yes!
