Like clockwork, each year after we slept in and had grandma’s breakfast, we would go and watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. It had everything: marching bands, the Rockettes, the huge flying balloons (my favorite) and of course Santa’s sleigh. You knew Christmas was around the corner and there was an excitement and energy in the air. Plus, it was always fun to see if a huge balloon would escape and go flying off into the air.
The Macy’s on Parade Pop-Up Book is a fun keepsake for people who love this parade. The book is an award-winning pop-up book that includes seven intricate scenes that spring off the pages, a map of the parade route (super cool!) and a tiny bag of confetti (aww! How cute!). Another bonus? Each book ordered off of Paint Box Press is personally signed by the author. Sweet! You can even have the book inscribed to someone in the ‘special instructions’ box while purchasing online. What an excellent way to start the holiday season and anticipate the Macy’s Day Parade this Thanksgiving, which falls on November 22nd this year.
