I like making things with my family from kits. It makes me feel like I am a renaissance woman although I know I am totally cheating. Why makes things from scratch when you know you can make something totally awesome that is as ‘easy as 1, 2, 3!’ by following a few simple instructions? I love the Kiss Natural kits because you get to make needed items for your family that are completely natural and you make it yourself! How cool is that? We wanted to try the soap making kit and the box promises the soaps will be ready within 60 minutes and you can make up to sixteen soaps. Super score!

The All Natural SLS Free Soap Making Kit has everything you need for your family to make pure SLS-free glycerin soap. It is actually quite simple to make (easier than I thought!) and you just melt a bar of glycerin soap, add the essential oils to your perfect scent and pour it into the included mould. Yes, it really is that easy! It is also perfect to keep little hands busy by stirring and pouring and the essential oils are great for smelling activities (check out some Montessori smelling activities for ideas!). Plus, 60 minutes is such a short time to wait until you can use the soap that little kids are super stoked to use their creations right away. Brooke loved helping create the smells and as you can see, we were quite successful! These are going to make great gift, too. Two thumbs up from Momma’s Bacon!
