I may have mentioned I am a wipe-off board freak. Once I got a laminator, it was like “Watch out, world! There is no stopping the wipe-off things I can create now!” We have a few small wipe-off boards that also are magnetized, and got some ABC magnets for fun play, too. I love the Priddy Wipe Clean Learning Books that take the wipe-off boards to a new level which is so great. Basically, the book has lined paper on each page with doted letters for children to practice their ABCs with a wipe-off marker that is included. This makes it very easy for a young child to see what they need to follow and they can try over and over (and over) again. There are colorful pictures starting with each letter of the alphabet on each page and the book is just very pleasing on the eye. It includes both upper and lowercase letters for each alphabet letter and it was really cool to see Brooke want to draw a lowercase ‘i’ last night when we were doing sidewalk chalk drawings. The book also includes several first concepts besides writing; like counting, sorting, color recognition and drawing. I would highly recommend this to children who are learning how to write.
