Product Review: Foam Balance Beam (Toddler+)

Foam balance beams are awesome for young children to help improve their balance and coordination. The dimensions of this beam are 55” L, 6 “W, and 3 “H and since it is made with foam it is very easy to transport. Dott Products (completely made in Ohio with the exception of raw foam that comes from North Carolina) specialize in making strong and sturdy foam and the balance beam features a nice non-slip surface. My daughter loves to balance on things (yoga blocks, my guitar case, etc…) and we wanted to give her a nice and safe product for her to do her ‘balancing’. I did a lot of research and –wow- there are so many nice but very expensive balance beams for kids. Dott Products seemed to have everything we needed (we aren’t training a gymnast or anything!) in a nice balance beam at such a nice cost. I love that the beam is slightly curved to make it a little challenging and what child doesn’t love a little balance challenge? I was also impressed that they sell their products through companies like Fun and Function, Inc (I’ve done a review on this company before and think they have a wonderful reputation and catalog) and it is nice to know it is made completely in the USA. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with myself for finding this one for Brooke and to share with my readers! Oh, colors do vary so keep that in mind when you make your purchase.
