Lullaby Renditions of Baby’s Favorite Rock Bands
Rockabye Baby is basically lullabies directed towards parents yet perfect for kids. I wish I had thought of this brilliant idea first! What Rockabye Baby has essentially done is take our generation’s music and turned it into soothing mellotrons, vibraphones and bells and made them into instrumental children’s songs. Can you imagine ‘I Wanna Be Your Lover’ as a kid’s song? Surprisingly, yes, it works. When we first started listening to the first song it actually took me a few minutes until the chorus to even realize it was ‘1999’. It is definitely an interesting take on Prince and it is actually quite relaxing to hear. As Rockabye Baby says, ‘(this) is the perfect way to share the music you love with the littlest rocker in your life”.
