Product Review: Chupacabra: Survive the Night™‏ Game (Age 8+)

It’s all FUN and GAMES!

Ever heard of a Chupacabra?  It is a folk lore animal with origins in Latin American that was first ‘sighted’ in Mexico and is said to feed off the blood of livestock, particularly goats.  In fact, the name Chupacabra literally means ‘goat sucker’.  Chupacabras are known for being particularly grotesque looking and are told as somewhat scary ghost stories to children.  That is why the Chupacabra: Survive the Night™‏ Game is a perfect Halloween review!

Chupacabra: Survive the Night™‏ Game is a game where you turn out the lights and survive by rolling the included glow-in-the-dark dice and being the last mammal standing.  If you roll a Chupacabra than you can take your opponent’s animals for each one rolled.  The first person to collect all the animals wins!  But – BEWARE – if someone rolls a Chupacabra Loco (meaning you roll all chupacabras in one turn, they can take the largest pack of animals in play of their opponent’s animals.  Since everything glows in the dark, you can play with all the lights out.  Can you survive the night?  Mwaaaa ha haaaa!

Game includes the following pieces:

  • 24 Glow-in-the-Dark Chupacabra Dice
  • Starter Chip
