If you Dare to….Enter the World of the Vamplets!

October is my absolute favorite month and it is also the month of my wedding anniversary (9 years – thank you very much!)!  I love the change of the weather, I love the smells in the air and I LOVE Halloween.  I like the dress up fun part of Halloween and the fake scares.  It’s just so much fun.  During October, you will see lots of little Halloween product reviews cropping up this month and I am happy to start off the Halloween season with this silly little plush product called the Vamplets.

The Vamplets, or Baby Vampyres if you will, have a Nightmare Nursery of Gloomvania ready for a dangerously adorable adoption!  The sweetest yet most dangerous baby of the bunch is little Howliss, the werewolfling who can transform from sweet little baby to your worst nightmare (sound familiar, any parents out there?!) For a limited number of adoptions, lucky purchasers will receive a free baby bottle of ‘blood’ (think of those disappearing toy bottles of milk but filled with fake red blood – ha!) for their babies.  Howliss is 8.5 inches tall and only a small number are ‘unleashed’ into the world for a limited amount of time.  You have been warned!

Adopt a Bat!  Now, I know lots of people from Austin (who have the largest urban bat colony in North America) will love this!  Yes, the Vamplets also do their share of charity in helping orphaned, abused or injured bats through the Bat World Sanctuary.  Check out their Bat Products page where 10% of the profits are donated to this charity.  Bats play a huge and very crucial role in insect control and pollination and are really great, and often misunderstood, animals.  Awesome.

    • Awesome! Yes, the adopt-a-bat was a huge part of why I was so impressed by the company and wanted to do a review. Plus, it’s just fun novelty items for a limited time each year. I heart October!
