I was a huge fan of the kid’s TV show Mr. Wizard. Remember that guy who would have children come to his home and he would do science experiments with them? Yeah, I guess it’s a tad bit creepy thinking about it now, but I learned a lot about science and the cool things you can do with a little bit of knowledge and some random items to make learning fun. That’s the whole premise of the Amazing Science Volume 1 DVD, which is to help kids learn science through hands-on experiments!

Amazing Science Volume 1 DVD actually includes two DVDs in the set and has 23 experiments that encompass such topics as heat, electricity, magnetism, chemistry and physics! Whew! It is a great way to learn about the basic principles of science through experimentation. In each demonstration, the viewer gets a complete list of materials used and each experiment is shown in full detail in a step-by-step fashion so it can be easily repeated.
