I was a huge fan of the kid’s TV show Mr. Wizard.  Remember that guy who would have children come to his home and he would do science experiments with them?  Yeah, I guess it’s a tad bit creepy thinking about it now, but I learned a lot about science and the cool things you can do with a little bit of knowledge and some random items to make learning fun.  That’s the whole premise of the Amazing Science Volume 1 DVD, which is to help kids learn science through hands-on experiments!

Amazing Science Volume 1 DVD actually includes two DVDs in the set and has 23 experiments that encompass such topics as heat, electricity, magnetism, chemistry and physics!  Whew!  It is a great way to learn about the basic principles of science through experimentation.  In each demonstration, the viewer gets a complete list of materials used and each experiment is shown in full detail in a step-by-step fashion so it can be easily repeated.  If you want to make science exciting for your child, this is the way to do it and help them understand the concepts behind the experiments.  Check out the complete list of the 23 experiments below:
