Product Review: The Sleep Fairy Book [Hardcover] (Age 4+)

Having trouble with your little ones not staying in bed at night? So just how do you get kids to go to bed and stay in bed? With the help of the Sleep Fairy, of course! The Sleep Fairy explains that when you sleep you go to the place where you can dream and imagine and wish where anything is possible. Why would you want to stay up when being asleep is so much more fun! This book has a really great introductory section with suggestions for parents to use with wonderful tips for that child that has trouble staying in bed. Some tips are that the Sleep Fairy will leave little gifts for those who stay in bed all night (think little notes or Dollar Store purchases) for their positive behaviors. I read one review where the parents said that the Sleep Fairy was leaving their child nice snacks when they woke up to help them stay asleep each night. As with most things, the tapering off of the Sleep Fairy will come with time. I really loved the review I read where the parents said the sleep fairy would not come into her room but leave her present in a box on the outside of her door knob. Inexpensive gifts were included like a sticker, a dime, etc., but the anticipation for the child was incentive enough to create an inexpensive way for parents with challenging sleepers to reclaim sleep for themselves. Why not try it for those with children with sleep challenges?
