Product Review: Catchin’ Some Peazzz CD by the Hot Peas ‘N Butter (All Ages)

Soothing Sounds for Quiet Moments! Out on August 28!

Uncompressed acoustic productions are not as prominent in today’s pop-driven society and I, for one, am always happy to take things down a notch. Hot Peas ‘N Butter has the same idea in this new softer 6th album that includes pianist Rob Arthur (Peter Frampton Band) and jazz guitarist Oz Noy. I guess, like our family, wind down music time is a nice way for parents to lull children to sleep after an end of a hectic day. I’m not sure if all children wind down at night to classic, jazz, bluegrass and folk, but we find it’s a great way to get Brooke to calm down and find peace before sleep arrives. The album features thirteen lullabies, some new and some softer renditions of happy classics you will instantly recognize. For the most reluctant sleeper, Hot Peas ‘N Butter recommends putting the songs on a loop for a ticket to Sleepytown. And who doesn’t love a song that a dad dedicated to his daughter, such as “Time To Fly.” Love! Happy quiet moments to you and your family!
