I love having talented friends.  I have always used the expression that if I can’t be talented, a talented friend is the next best thing!  Staci is more of an acquaintance, we have shared yoga classes together and are in a mom’s forum, but she is so super friendly you imagine she has lots of friends.  It’s also fun to write about Staci because she is honestly quite talented and is known all over Austin as the go-to children’s performer.  I say performer, because her talent is not just limited to her musical career per my review, she is a story-teller, face-painter and downright overall children’s party planner and doer.  She recently had her third child and I have a feeling this momma of three will be working the Austin children’s circuit with babe on hip, she is that energetic.  I wanted to do a review of her very first solo album from 2006 and it is well worth it to time travel back to a time pre-TomKat (and don’t pretend like you don’t know who they are!) and “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley was the hit of the day.  Let’s talk the The Big Bubble Be Bop by Staci Gray CD like it’s 2006 all over again!  Staci Gray’s first solo album, The Big Bubble Be Bop, is fun and playful and great for music and movement activities with the kiddos.  We love ‘The Imagination Song’ and ‘I Can Do That’.
