Ah ha! I have a children’s music scoop for my readers! I love that! If you have never heard of the band Big Bang Boom then you are really missing out on some fun music for you and your kiddos. The 3rdalbum of the well-known children’s group, Big Bang Boom, is releasing their next album entitled ‘Because I Said So’ on September 18, 2012, so mark your calendar! Bassist and lead vocals, Chuck Folds, says he considers ‘Because I Said So’ the most multi-generational of the trilogy of Big Bang Boom albums. This trio of dads were children of the 70s and 80s and influenced by pop and power music with a contemporary twist, but interestingly, they only write their lyrics from the perspective of children. Of course, you must check out Hippie Mom which is fast energy and fun and ummmmm relatable.

Although they have collectively spent 20 years touring, they have only been playing together under the name Big Bang Boom since 2007 and have already played in many prestigious kiddie venues like Kidzapalooza.
