Product Review: How’d They Build That? DVD Box Set (Recommended for Kids Age 4+)
Entertain, Educate, Inspire and Stimulate Children through Quality Videos without “Talking Down” to them
Marvelous Media came up with the brilliant idea to put together an educational series for children about how different BIG vehicles are made and set out to make it entertaining and in High Definition quality. The DVDs within the series are award-winning, well-narrated, detailed and interesting about each of the familiar vehicles discussed. It was as informative on an adult level but easily understood by children. The Fire Truck DVD was the most well received from Brooke of the set and I think it was exciting to see the big truck in rescue action (I am hearing a lot of siren-calling these days..). I was most interested in learning that there are 92 different varieties of red for a fire truck. Ninety-two! What?!?! Brooke was also interested in how the school bus operated in the School Bus DVD especially since she has yet to start off to school. We also enjoyed the Big Truck story which was based from the International Truck & Engine Company in Springfield, Ohio and I got a chuckle out of the narrator saying we celebrate Big Trucks in the U.S. and even gave the saying, “Keep on trucking” to prove that point. This entire DVD set is very fascinating and engrossing and the multiple interesting facts and tidbits keeps up with the action packed visuals of our BIG vehicles. Each DVD can be purchased separately for $7.99 and when bought together will give you a discount of $5.00.
