Celebrating 40 years of Face to Face Fun!

I loved the “Fun with” series concept through Talicor AristoPlay as soon as I heard about it from a homeschooling blog.  This series is designed to stimulate learning and language skills in early childhood through introducing two languages at once in a seamless manner.  Of course, I was interested in the Spanish and English set and out of the two current “Fun with” series topics of Colors of Numbers, I decided to go with Colors.  I just figured if the Colors worked out well, we’d start on the Numbers set next.

The Fun with Colors is a box set that has color instructions in both Spanish and English and includes a DVD (which can also be heard in French and Portuguese), workbook and game cards to identify colors.  The products include the identification of primary and secondary colors as well as shape with color association (love that!).  Familiar objects are used as visuals with both English and Spanish used simply throughout the set.  The product works best with an interested adult who will help the child identify objects within the colors and to help the child repeat learned words and color associations.  While the DVD and workbooks can be done individually, the games in the set are made to be played by 2 to 4 players.  It’s a great set to help learn colors while also incorporating the education of a second language.  Brilliant!
