The Straw that Goes In, but Doesn’t Come Out! *Local*

Chalk this up to another product I wish I had invented.  This is another local product from a Cedar Park, TX Momma who came up with the perfect solution for those on-the-go snacks that only a parent with young ones would think about.  I have a young one, so I think about this stuff a lot!  Jamie’s straw idea seemed so simple that I knew it just had to work – and we tried it – and it does!  Okay, here it is – The Straw-lution Straw is a basic straw with – ta da! – four little prongs (or whatever you would call them – sticky-outty things) towards the end of the straw that hold the straw in place in the container. Yes, it is that simple.  It’s a great length (five inches) for kid cups (you know the size of the ones they give you at restaurants) and individual containers of food where you could fit the straws like in yogurt containers or applesauce.  This product is BPA-free, made in the USA, dishwasher safe and comes in packs of four different colors (Blue, Pink, Green or Yellow).

About Inventor Jamie Wallace:  Jamie Wallace, mother of three, was frustrated with straws.  Or more like her kids’ use of the straws.  How do they always end up on the floor?  Ingenuity and perseverance led Jamie to create Straw-lution Straws on her dining room table in Round Rock, Texas.  Now recent Winner of one of the 2012 Next Big Zing awards, Straw-lution Straw is proving to be a hot trend and very innovative product for parents.  Well done, Jamie!

    • Hi Jamie! Thanks so much for commenting. Love your product and have heard lots of locals talk about how they use and re-use the straws since this post. Great job!
