I drank so many fruit smoothies while I was pregnant; I am almost surprised my daughter didn’t come out of the womb with a smoothie cup in her hand. She certainly has developed a taste for her almost daily ‘moothies’ (as she calls them), especially her favorite banana, strawberry and Greek yogurt combinations. We have even snuck in different vitamins and veggies for an extra special treat. These healthy drinks are a huge staple in our household and it was fun to be able to incorporate them into a cute all wooden piece toy set for kids perfect for healthy pretend play!
The Pastel Smoothie Set by KidKraft is a twelve piece wooden set for kids to pretend to make their own healthy drinks. The set includes an adorable blender with a lid (that lifts off the blender base), six fruit halves attached by Velcro to easily pull apart, two smoothie cups and a wooden knife for ‘cutting’ the fruit. The knob on the blender turns to add a real quality to our children’s pretend play. The best part for me is that there was no assembly required! Brooke was able to start making smoothies right away just like her momma and daddy. Thrilling!
