Product Review: Classroom Calendar by Get Ready Kids (Toddler +)

I really saw the benefit of using an interactive wall hanger as an educational tool with Brooke through our Alma’s Designs ‘Let’s Count’ Wall Hanger and was looking for a way to talk to her about the days and months of the year in this same fashion. I did a lot of checking and saw several nice and cost effective calendars but went with the Get Ready Kids option after careful consideration. This Classroom Calendar is great for getting kids involved with learning about the order of days and months while also thinking about and tracking the weather.
The Classroom Calendar by Get Ready Kids is a perfect large wall hanging visual (36” x 26”) to help kids understand and learn the days of the week as well as the months, seasons, events and weather with interactive pieces that can velcro to the hanging. The nice thing is that the set also includes personalized attachment pieces to create your own special calendar events or birthdays. There is also a place for a child to write their name on the calendar so they feel like this organizer is really their own. This durable set has pockets at the bottom of the hanger for storage and is great to organize the attachments. Just a warning that you will need to supply your own dowel or curtain rod for hanging in the two attached fabric loops which was no problem for us. This is a great calendar for kids, an excellent homeschooling tool and perfect for children who are learning all about calendars. Side note: It is also surface washable, so no fear about sticky fingers! Great product!
