Building Thinking Skills Beginning workbook through The Critical Thinking Co. is a learning tool for children ages 3-6 to develop analytical skills for academic learning in the areas of reading, writing and math readiness. I read that this book can be used as a complete critical thinking curriculum to prepare children for preschool activities that caught my eye. This product has won multiple awards from The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval to Mensa Recommended Materials for the Gifted and that backing sealed the deal for me to check it out.
Building Thinking Skills Beginning is a workbook designed to improve our preschooler’s skills in areas such as vocabulary, pre-reading, pre-writing, math, logic, spatial and auditory processing skills through fun and engaging reasoning activities. These books are used by many schools, learning centers and homeschooling programs and has many positive reviews on the quality of the comprehensive resources for thinking skills at all levels. Below are lists of all the skills and concepts covered in the beginning book. The book uses a lot of color and includes activities that are easy to understand and solvable in a short period of time. While the intent behind this workbook is to improve academic performance, the question and answer puzzles are game-like to help foster an enjoyment of learning in a very fun way.
