A Soaring Start for Little Minds
Pocket Snails Letter Adventure & Other Snaily Songs 12-track CD is from the children’s educational Pocket Snails series that has won over 25 National Awards and is geared for kids between the ages of 2-5. The cartoon boy called Jake has three snails that live in his pocket and help him learn about the world around him. His team of three snails, Dale, Gordon and Buttons, have very distinct personalities, love Jake and are good at helping him learn lessons and solve puzzles. Adorable.
Pocket Snails were created by Soaring Star Productions, LLC to help enhance and enrich intellectual growth during the early years of childhood. I was especially drawn to the Letter Adventure & Other Snaily Songs CD after checking out their song previews, which I am including below from their website. The songs remind me of a mash-up of 80s new wave and the Chipmunks (Flock of Snails, perhaps? No? OK, moving on…). This CD is meant to reinforce the alphabet, vowels and introduce phonics. It is fun, electronic and educational, so what is there not to love? I had a good laugh at the Outtakes song which I found fun and my daughter just loves to dance to the happy, electronic beat.
