This will come as no surprise for readers who follow my blog that I love music and Brooke is constantly surrounded by music in her daily life. She loves to sing and dance and since we do not discriminate against any musical style, she has pretty much heard it all. I do love to incorporate music that has a lot of different instruments and now that she is becoming quite the little English language expert, I have started to seek out music with lyrics she will love. I was really happy to discover Rebecca Freeza and her eight-piece band of Big Truck and our family has fallen in love with her album Road Trip.
Road Trip is a fun, fantastic introduction to Rebecca’s children’s music. My personal favorite is the song Just Imagine that talks about using your imagination when you play. Parents will love the heart-stopping song of I Know I’m Gonna Drive A Car about the scary notion that one day our little ones will be drivers of their own. Also, be sure to check out the sweet lyrics of Friends to really understand the specialness of Rebecca Freeza and Big Truck and why we have decided as parents this is a great CD for our little one to hear.
About Rebecca Freeza: Rebecca has had quite the creative and artistic life and has spent a good portion of her life working in musical theater, as a music educator and even a dancer on Broadway! Rebecca fronts the eight-piece band of Big Truck. Her award-winning music has been featured in such shows as Curious George and Clifford the Big Red Dog and is regularly featured on XM Kids.
