My older brother and I are just 18 months apart in age so I had my share of ‘boy toys’ as a child that I loved including a shared tool set. To be honest, I naturally gravitated towards boys and boy-things and did not fully embrace pink until a few years ago. I may not ever like or learn how to walk in high heels, but I could rock a pink tool set and love that Brooke can too! I think it is genius! I know in my adult life I am constantly using tools to fix things and put together toys and furniture around our house and what better way to give my little daughter a great starter tool kit (that is also eco-friendly) to begin her path as a great ‘handy person’.
The Green Toys Pink Tool Set is a safe and durable set so that your little one can safely help you ‘fix’ things around the house. The eco-friendly set is made entirely out of recycled plastic milk containers molded into this 15 piece set that includes a tool box, phillips screwdriver, flat screwdriver, hammer, saw, wrench, pliers, 2 two-hole connectors, 2 nails, 2 bolts, and 2 nuts. This product is free of BPA, phthalates, PVC and has no external coatings. I love how each tool is neatly labeled so that your child can visually see things like the word ‘wrench’ on the side of the wrench. Very clever. Brooke has immediately taken over this set and especially loves to pound anything and everything with her new hammer. She also loves to use the phillips screwdriver on the nuts and bolts and don’t get me started on how she likes to make her wrench ‘dance’ (as she calls it).
