Product Review: Blooming Cupcakes Baking Kit *Fun*
To Create Lasting Memories through a Shared Baking Experience
My mom was known as the ‘Cookie Lady’ at my elementary school that taught children from two villages in SE Ohio. My mom would bake cookies of all kinds for any occasion, charity or event; Scotcheroos, Peanut Butter Blossoms, No Bakes, you name the cookie and she probably made it. The great thing is she would always let me help in the kitchen even as a really young child and help I would. I had my favorite stirrer and I knew to re-use our paper grocery sacks as our cooling stations for quick set-up. We branched out to other baking, too, such as pies and cupcakes, but cookies were ‘our’ thing and for quite some time I could make chocolate chip cookies without a recipe or even measuring cups. I would love to re-create that baking fun with my own child as she grows and I jumped all over the Blooming Cupcakes Baking Kit as soon as I saw it!
The Blooming Cupcakes Baking Kit contains six oven-safe reusable silicone baking ‘flowerpots’ that make the perfect cupcakes. The kit also contains a chocolate cake mix, vanilla frosting mix, sprinkles shaped like daisies, green sprinkles and a pink icing pen to make your cupcakes look like blooming flowers! The instructions are simple and the final product speaks for itself. Since the flowerpots are reusable you can continue the baking fun for the whole family for many years to come with your little ones (make sure to read the baking instructions on the box!).
