I am always looking for helpful and fun ways to teach Brooke practical skills. I came across these interesting bi-colored shoe laces that claimed these teaching laces were designed to make shoe tying a simple process for your little one to learn. The laces are bi-colored that you are supposed to mark in several places with a marker to help your child with loop placement and I thought it looked like an interesting product to test.
The idea behind Shoe Tying Made Simple is to give kids visual cues when learning to tie their shoes. The multi-colored laces plus adding placement visual pen marks on the laces gives the child visuals on where to grab and pinch laces for tying. The laces are extra long (forty-two inch laces) to help make learning easier. The package also includes a complete illustrated teaching guide with words to the shoe tying songs available through their website.
