Product Review: Spa Comforts Mommy’s Kisses Hot & Cold Pack (Frog)

I almost fainted when my husband came back from a local natural grocery store (yes, ladies, Bob does the grocery shopping for our family and, yes, he’s mine!) to say he had a product he thought I should review. Really, say what? This was the first time he has ever mentioned a product recommendation for me to review . Cool. I thought, ‘This must be good’! And you know what? He was right! I am happy to say that Spa Comforts Mommy’s Kisses Hot & Cold Pack product was not one I painstakingly researched for hours to find (as much as I’d love to take that credit), it was my dear husband who brought this review to you!
The reason my husband was so excited about Spa Comforts Mommy’s Kisses Hot & Cold Pack is because my daughter hates (and I mean, my daughter Hates) cold packs as much as we wish that she didn’t and he thought Mommy’s Kisses was the answer. Like most toddlers, her feet are faster than her brain and, sadly, she has had a slew of bumps and bruises to prove it. We want to offer her relief and faster healing when she gets a new bump from another face-plant, but she refuses to accept even a cold washcloth on her boo-boo. I knew as soon as I felt this super plush removable gel pack holder that my daughter would love it and it wasn’t long before I was able to test out my theory. Success!
Spa Comforts Mommy’s Kisses Hot & Cold Pack are super soft plush animal shaped holders for removable gel packs that can provide either localized heat or cold therapy to your child. The packs can be warmed to relive muscle, headaches or other types of pain. The packs can be chilled quickly for relief of bruises, bumps, insect bites or to just get cooled down on a hot day. Out of all the cold packs we have tried with Brooke (and there have been a lot), Mommy’s Kisses was the first one she would tolerate and I believe it is because the soft lushness of the gel pack cover did not irritate her skin. She also loves her little frog toy and loves to poke at his eyes and kiss his face as it helps to heal her boo boo. Bob and I think it is a fantastic product and so does Brooke!
