Product Review: Wholesale Unstuffed Teddy Bear Kit (Operation Gratitude) *Military*

I wanted to use an opportunity to talk about a great company called Bday Parties LLC and their Unstuffed Teddy Bear Kit while also incorporating a special donation program through Operation Gratitude’s Battalion Buddies to gift these special bears to children of deploying U.S. soldiers.  As a proud wife of an Army veteran and daughter-in-law to a 100% service connected disabled Vietnam veteran, I have a lot of passion for what our voluntary soldiers do for our country and the sacrifices they make including leaving their children for extended deployments in order to serve and protect all of us.  My heart goes out to these children who are without their parent(s) for an extended period of time and I thought sending a special Battalion Buddy to a child of a deployed soldier sounded like a fantastic way to show my gratitude by giving a comforting item to their young one while they cannot be with them.  I thought the Unstuffed Teddy Bear Kit was a perfect family project to show your child the kindness of giving to other children who will be experiencing an extended absence of a parent and gives a family a great opportunity to discuss our nation’s military service members.

The Wholesale Unstuffed Teddy Bear Kit is a safe activity for kids of all ages.  Families create the stuffed animals using Bday Bears unstuffed plush animal shell and polyester poly fil. No sewing is required and bears are just zipped with a hidden one-way zipper when finished to complete the process.  It is a very simple and fun process to watch as you ‘grow’ a bear.  The animals are made out of 100% polyester fabric and are washable, non-allergenic, non-toxic and conform to Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) codes of safety. They have been CPSC third party tested and certified.  The 16 inch unstuffed teddy bear kit also comes with an adorable printable birth certificate insert.  Overall, I think this is a wonderful activity to complete with a child and we will be sending ours to Operation Gratitude for his official Battalion Buddy enlistment.  Great work, solider bear!

About Operation Gratitude Battalion Buddies Program:   The California Army National Guard allows Operation Gratitude to use their facility for their operation and the Stuffed Bears can be shipped to Operation Gratitude at the below address for overall disbursement.  Once your bear arrives he becomes an ‘official’ Operation Gratitude Battalion Buddy by receiving a special hang-tag and flak jacket that they add to each stuffed animal.  Their policy is to work with the family Readiness Coordinators of deploying units to ensure that every child in the unit receives their own Battalion Buddy.  They do not give out information about individual service members or their children.
