Dedicated supporters of music education that bring quality musical instruments to elementary classrooms across the United States

I don’t think I could ever put in to words how important music is in my life.  I think I came out of the womb writing lyrics and humming a catchy chorus.  My mornings do not seem complete until I rock out to an awesome jam on my way to work.  I sometimes sit in my work’s parking lot listening to the radio and just waiting for that one awesome song to pump me up enough to tackle the day.  As a kid, I used to play my guitar for hours and hours after school and writing songs helped me get through many rough periods in my life.  I am not sure how you share that absolute love of music with your child except to just do it.  By do it, I mean to play, listen, experiment and dance with music with your little one.  At my daughter’s age, banging on drums or keyboards is really fun and teaches her she can make and manipulate sound and be loud!  When I saw the KidsPlay 8 Note Handbell Set by Rhythm Band Instruments LLC, I knew I wanted to share this bell set with my daughter to continue her experimentation with music and sound with an added touch of color education.

The 8 Note Handbell set is a fantastic deal as well as being an excellent source of musical education for a child.  The 8 multi-color metal bells are marked in a C-c range with the notes marked on top of the bell with the name and a number on the handle for an easy visual connection to the musical scale.  I recommend getting the related 8 Note Bell Songs Book for an extra $ 4.50 so that your child can start practicing on classic well-known children songs to further enrich their musical education.  Each song in the book has the music, words, chord symbols as well as the numbers and notes referenced on the handbell set handles.  While I could never put a price tag on the education of music for my child, I think forty-four dollars for both the handbell and book set is not a bad place to start.  I look forward to many musical sessions with my budding little musician in the near future.

About Rhythm Band Instruments (RBI)RBI is over fifty years old and started as a small music shop in Fort Worth, TX in 1961.  Those familiar with Fort Worth will be familiar with their warehouse near downtown although they started off manufacturing many of their instruments from a small operation on Throckmorton Street.  RBI’s commitment to early music education sets their company and products apart from typical stores and they have been a huge source for elementary school instruments across the United States.
