Product Review: 8.5″ Bear in Underwear Doll (Safe for All Ages)
I love dolls that accompany kids books and MerryMakers, Inc. has done an awesome job of keeping on top of what kids are reading and following suit in the toy market. The Bear in Underwear books have gotten quite popular and as Bob and I are dealing with toddlerhood and potty training, I can see why! Our potty training experience for us has been laid back and focused more on letting Brooke know how fun it is to go to the potty and wear underwear. When I saw the adorable (SO adorable) Bear In Underwear doll, I thought, “Perfect!”. My daughter is starting to realize the difference between diapers and underwear and how ‘cool’ it is to wear underwear. This little bear (8.5″) goes perfect with the favorite board book, What Color is Bear’s Underwear? and his little tighty whiteys are complete with red, white and blue stripe. There are several additional Bear in Underwear non-board books for the slightly order crowd available through Blue Apple Books, too. I do hope MerryMarkers come out with a Bear in Pink Underwear version of the doll at some point. While the pink underwear is due to a washing mishap for the boy bear tighty whiteys, it would be cute to have a pink underwear version of the doll for my daughter. I know I would buy one!
